چکیده

Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) bonded stationary phase has been synthesized by a single and simple step reaction. glycol monomethyl ether p-toluene sulfonate) (tosylated-PEO, molecular weight 900, n ≈ 18) was chemically to 3-aminopropyl silica (TSKgel NH2-60, 5 µm particle size, 60 Å mean pore diameter). The prepared able separate polar compounds such as phenolics nucleobases in capillary liquid chromatography. retention separation of could be achieved under isocratic elution condition. Nucleobases thymine, adenine, uracil, uridine, cytidine toluene (phenol, pyrocatechol, pyrogallol) were baseline separated less than 6 min using 98% acetonitrile 7 minutes 80% acetonitrile, respectively. We demonstrated that the analyte decreased with decreasing eluent concentration. these believed based on dipole-dipole and/or hydrogen-bonding interactions.

Methacrylate-based diol monolithic stationary phase for the separation of polar and non-polar compounds in capillary liquid chromatography.

A monolithic capillary column prepared with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) and poly(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate (PEGDMA) was investigated and used in capillary liquid chromatography. The polymer monolith was synthesized in the presence of methanol and decanol as the biporogenic solvents by in situ polymerization of GMA and PEGDMA, and the optimum composition of monomer and porogen was investig...

Bonded peptide stationary phases for the separation of amino acids and peptides using liquid chromatography.

Bonded optically active tripeptides have been applied as stationary phases for liquid chromatography. Significant retention variations are shown for some UV absorbing amino acids when compared to a silica gel column using the same mobile phase. The separation of certain isomeric dipeptides has been accomplished using the bonded optically active tripeptide stationary phases. It is shown that th...

Reverse-phase chromatography of polar biological substances: separation of catechol compounds by high-performance liquid chromatography.

Catecholamines and their metabolites have been separated isocratically by reverse-phase chromatography with aqueous (no organic solvent admixed) eluents. Unlike ion-exchange or ion-pair chromatography, mixtures of both acidic and basic substances can be separated in a single chromatographic run, because the retention is governed by hydrophobic interactions between the nonpolar moiety of the sol...

Vitamin U-bonded stationary phase in capillary ion chromatography.

A vitamin U-bonded stationary phase was prepared and the retention behavior of inorganic anions was examined using ion chromatography. Inorganic anions were retained on the vitamin U-bonded stationary phase under acidic as well as neutral eluent conditions in the ion-exchange mode. The elution order of the examined anions under neutral eluent conditions was nearly the same as that observed in...

New alkyl-phosphate bonded stationary phases for liquid chromatographic separation of biologically active compounds

A new type of bonded stationary phase for liquid chromatography, with the properties of immobilized artificial membranes, has been synthesized. Alkyl-phosphate adsorbents were obtained by modification of aminopropyl silica gel. The structures of the synthesized materials were confirmed by use of instrumental techniques--elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and (13)C and (29)Si CP/M...
